When is the Zaragoza Christmas market in 2026?
The XLIII Feria de Artesanía Aragonesa is announced for Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 December 2026 at the Cámara de Comercio, Paseo Isabel la Católica 2, near the main entrance of Parque Grande. It opens daily from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00. The city's Christmas lighting is planned from 20 November 2026 to 7 January 2027. The Muestra Navideña on Plaza del Pilar had no confirmed 2026/27 dates on 27 October 2026; the last published season ran from 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026. Muestra Navideña
The central seasonal craft market on Plaza del Pilar, with food and accompanying activities, plus the Belén de Judea nativity scene in front of the Basílica. The latest verified visitor FAQ covers 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026, so the opening date and daily hours for 2026/27 still need confirming before you plan around it.
Feria de Artesanía Aragonesa
The 43rd Aragonese craft fair runs from Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 December 2026 at the Cámara de Comercio, Paseo Isabel la Católica 2, close to the main entrance of Parque Grande. It opens in two daily sessions, 11:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00. No visitor admission price was confirmed at the research date.
Mercado Gourmet near Parque Grande
The city describes a seasonal gourmet market with artisan food near Parque Grande. Its operation and dates for 2026/27 were not confirmed when we checked. It is a separate event from the craft fair, so the fair's address tells you nothing about whether the gourmet market is open.

The visitor FAQ for the Plaza del Pilar market refers explicitly to 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026. That is the previous season. Our guide does not move those dates forward by a year, and neither should your booking. Wait for the new programme before treating them as 2026 dates.
Plaza Aragón Christmas fair
The II Feria de Navidad on Plaza Aragón still appears in searches, but its organiser page gives 13 December 2024 to 5 January 2025. It documents an earlier event, not a return in 2026. Plaza Aragón can still be part of a city walk.
Mercado Central and CADA
The market hall on Avenida de César Augusto and the CADA craft shop at the Centro de Artesanía are useful additions with their own opening hours. They are open outside the Christmas season too and are not extra Christmas markets.
When are the Zaragoza Christmas lights switched on in 2026?
A city announcement from 5 June 2026 describes new lighting for this season. Lights and market stalls are planned separately.
20 November 2026 to 7 January 2027
The lighting is planned to run from 17:30, or sunset, until 01:00 each day. These are preparatory details from the city's planning, not a promise of an opening ceremony or of market stalls opening on the same day. Plan the lights as an evening walk and check the market's own hours separately.
Calle Alfonso and Plaza de España
The plans include new lighting on Calle Alfonso and Plaza de España, and an illuminated corridor from Plaza de San Miguel to Santiago church. One stretch is usually enough for an evening walk, combined with a look at Plaza del Pilar.
Basílica del Pilar and La Seo
The Santa Capilla at El Pilar is listed as open daily from 08:00 to 20:30. The tower and La Seo have their own hours and earlier last admission, so a visit after the market needs more than the closing time.
