Prado Museum, Madrid

Build your two days in Madrid around one booked game and two flexible walks. Start with El Retiro Park and Prado Museum, keeping Royal Palace as an option for day two.

Day one around El Retiro Park

Broad paths, shade and the large pond make the Retiro a natural pause between sport and city time. Focus on one area rather than treating the entire park as compulsory.

Your fixed point is the reservation at Madrid Central Pádel. Work backwards from the start time and keep the walk open-ended. If the court lies across town, play first and leave the afternoon free for the neighbourhood.

Day two between Prado Museum and Royal Palace

Velázquez and Goya provide a clear focus for a short visit. Choose a few rooms and allow time for admission and cloakroom arrangements. An exhausted post-match museum marathon is unnecessary.

The palace, Plaza de Oriente and the Almudena surroundings form a coherent sightseeing area. An exterior walk and an interior visit are different plans; check tickets before adding timed admission.

If your match moves

Move Prado Museum to day one. Leave a second court booking open until after the first game, when everyone knows whether another session or more time exploring sounds better.

A question players ask

What should I reserve first?

If padel is the reason for the trip, secure your court at Madrid Central Pádel first. Book timed visits once you know the journey fits between the two.
