Christmas Village lists two parking offers: a $15 daily discount at Harbor Court Garage, 30 East Lee Street, and $10 for up to six hours at Lockwood Place Garage, 124 Market Place, booked in advance. Both are day offers for event days, not for overnight stays, and each has its own activation or booking steps. If you plan to stay over, see an Advent weekend in Baltimore for car-free options.

Harbor Court Garage: $15 with validation

The market lists a $15 daily discount for Harbor Court Garage at 30 East Lee Street. It applies on event days for same-day parking and does not cover overnight stays.

The discount needs activating. According to the organiser, you do this after parking by scanning a QR code at the carousel or at the information booth. An online validation option is also offered while the vehicle is still in the garage. Read through the process before you arrive rather than after you have already driven out.

  • Address: 30 East Lee Street
  • Price: $15 daily discount on event days
  • Activation: QR code at the carousel or information booth, or online while still parked
  • Not for: overnight parking

Lockwood Place Garage: $10 for six hours

Lockwood Place Garage at 124 Market Place is advertised at $10 for up to six hours, reserved in advance through the named parking platforms. There is a small inconsistency in the organiser's information: the detailed description limits the stay to six hours, while a general statement on the homepage calls it an all-day offer.

Your booking confirmation is what counts. Check the entry time, maximum duration and overstay conditions before relying on it for a long museum-and-market day. Six hours sounds generous, but a morning museum, lunch and an evening at the market can easily run longer.

Compare parking against your real day

A lower rate helps less if the booked period is too short or leaves a long walk back. Before choosing, sketch your day: where you park, the first attraction, the market and the time you will want to leave.

  1. Note the details: garage address, the level you parked on and your reservation.
  2. Museum lots are for museum guests: the Baltimore Museum of Industry offers free visitor parking with accessible spaces by a ramp, but do not use it for a long market visit afterwards without asking permission.
  3. Hotel weekends: the market discounts are day offers, so arrange hotel parking separately, including any entry and exit restrictions.

When leaving the car is easier

For a visit from Washington or the airport, public transport may be simpler. Light Rail runs from BWI Airport, MARC trains reach Penn Station and Camden Station, and the free Charm City Circulator connects Penn Station, Mount Vernon, the harbour and Key Highway. An MTA day pass costs $4.60.

Two transfers by car or taxi can also cost more than you expect. Set a daily budget first, then decide whether parking or transit fits it better.
