The XLIII Feria de Artesanía Aragonesa runs from Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 December 2026 at the Cámara de Comercio, Paseo Isabel la Católica 2, near the main entrance of Parque Grande. It opens daily in two sessions, 11:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00. It is the one Christmas event in Zaragoza with fully announced dates at our research date. The Zaragoza Christmas guide (PDF) includes a ready route for a fair day.

The fair at a glance

  • Edition: the 43rd Aragonese craft fair.
  • Dates: 4-8 December 2026, five days.
  • Venue: Cámara de Comercio, Paseo Isabel la Católica 2.
  • Sessions: 11:00-14:00 and 17:00-21:00, closed in between.
  • Admission: no confirmed visitor price. The researched page is also a call for exhibitors, and its stand sizes and fees are not visitor tickets.

The fair is a reason to visit in its own right and a counterpart to the central market on Plaza del Pilar. Because it is near Parque Grande, plan it as a separate part of your day rather than a quick stop between other sights.

Choosing your session

You do not need both sessions to get a good impression. The morning session suits a day that ends with a train in the late afternoon. The evening session suits a day with a museum or church visit first. Whichever you choose, arrive with time to spare. Browsing carefully works better in an uninterrupted visit than in the last half hour before the 14:00 closure.

If you want to come back later, clarify the access conditions before you leave. Two opening sessions do not automatically mean that any required ticket allows repeat entry.

A suggested fair day

  1. From 11:00: walk round once without buying, then choose a few stalls for longer conversations.
  2. Before 14:00: ask about making, care and packaging. Avoid leaving an important purchase to the final minutes.
  3. 14:00-17:00: plan a meal and, if the weather suits, a walk in Parque Grande. Choose an actual place for your break rather than relying on the unconfirmed Mercado Gourmet.
  4. Optional from 17:00: return only if there is something specific you still want to see, or head back with your purchases.

Talking to the makers

A fair visit becomes more interesting when you bring a concrete question. With ceramics it might concern the surface; with textiles, the finishing of the edges; with jewellery, how the parts are joined. You do not need specialist vocabulary. Ask how the object is made and who made it, and note the answers for pieces you like. A useful question in Spanish: '¿Cómo está hecha esta pieza y cómo debo cuidarla?' (How was this piece made, and how should I care for it?).

Ask before taking close-up photographs. If you are undecided, take the workshop's contact details. A good conversation does not have to end in an immediate purchase.

Getting there and back

Save the full address, Paseo Isabel la Católica 2, rather than aiming for the city centre. Check your tram or bus connection on the day; a single tram ticket costs €1.70 and does not include a transfer. Plan the return with your purchases in mind, and identify a sheltered place to rest if the weather turns.

Frequently asked questions

Can I buy crafts after 8 December?

Yes, at the CADA shop at the Centro de Artesanía, which has its own weekly hours and is open outside the fair.
