The EA airport bus links Seville airport with several city stops, including Santa Justa, Prado de San Sebastián, Paseo Colón by the Torre del Oro and the Plaza de Armas bus station. The operator lists €6 for a single and €8 for a return from 7 January 2026, but the return is valid only on the day of purchase. For a stay of several nights, buy two singles. The Seville Christmas guide has a full airport budget page.

Where the bus stops

The operator's map shows several points in the city as well as the bus station. Choose your stop by your accommodation and the onward walk with luggage. The guide puts it plainly: a familiar market name is not a good reason to head straight to a stall with your suitcase.

A calm first-day order works best: reach your accommodation, leave your luggage, check opening hours and choose one area. In Triana, the food market and the ceramics centre form a shared focus. For the nativity market, orient yourself by Calle Fray Ceferino González.

Fares and the return rule

  • Single: €6 per journey, from 7 January 2026.
  • Return: €8, valid only on the day it is bought.
  • Two singles: €12 per person if you arrive and leave on different days.
  • Two adults, multi-day stay: four singles at €6 come to €24.

The EA single does not include a transfer to other city services. The guide also notes that older maps and tourism brochures show different return-ticket conditions; it follows the operator's 2026 sheet. If your return flight is in January 2027, check the fare again before you travel.

Going back to the airport

The EA map shows different stop sequences in each direction. Look up the actual airport-bound stop for your return instead of assuming you board across the road from where you got off. Published timetables and total journey time are also different things, so allow for waiting and road traffic. Keep your ticket until the end of the journey.

Before you board with purchases

If you are carrying fragile figures, ceramics or jars on the way back, pack them in your accommodation rather than at the bus stop. The guide recommends having delicate work packed by the seller and keeping food separate from hard objects. Food rules for your flight and your destination country need checking separately.

Paying at the markets

The guide does not give payment details for the market stalls. Ask at each stall if you are unsure, and keep receipts with the product details, which is useful later for gifts and for any questions about origin.

Luggage and your first walk

Think about the walk from the stop to your door before you choose where to get off. Old-town streets can be narrow, and the guide notes that the word central says little about luggage routes or the building entrance. If you are arriving on a market day, take your bags to the accommodation first and come back to the stalls without them. That also leaves your hands free when you start comparing figures or food.
