Which Christmas markets are there in Baltimore in 2026?
The guide focuses on two events in different parts of the city. Treat them as separate outings rather than one long market walk.
Christmas Village
The main market sits in West Shore Park; the organiser gives the address as 501 Light Street. It combines outdoor stalls with a heated festival tent, a carousel and a Ferris wheel. Food announced for 2026 includes bratwurst, raclette, schnitzel, Belgian fries and a new Chesapeake crab baked potato.
Holiday Heap
A curated craft show organised by Charm City Craft Mafia at 2640 Space, 2640 St. Paul Street, on Saturday 12 December 2026. Its rules favour handmade work such as ceramics, jewellery, paper goods, textiles and woodwork; resale, vintage and imported goods are not accepted as regular applications.
Museums nearby
The American Visionary Art Museum (800 Key Highway) and the Baltimore Museum of Industry (1415 Key Highway) pair well with a market afternoon. They are independent attractions with their own tickets and closure days, not part of any market pass.
What are the Christmas Village opening hours and admission rules?
The hours are simple once you know the closure days. Admission depends on which part of the market you enter.
Regular opening times
Sunday to Thursday noon to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday noon to 9 pm, on open days only. Mondays and Tuesdays are normally closed, so an early-week arrival can miss the market entirely. Check your exact date, not just the first and last days of the season.
Outdoor free, tent sometimes paid
The outdoor market is free to enter. On selected weekend days, guests aged 18 and over need a $5 Season Pass for the heated tent; under-18s enter free. The pass allows repeat tent entry for the rest of the season but covers no food, rides or workshops.
Weekdays and Preview Weekend
Weekdays and the Preview Weekend on 21 and 22 November are free under the published rule. The organiser's description does not fully list which later weekend days require the pass, so read the current notice for your date if you plan to use the tent.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Baltimore Christmas market open on Mondays?
Normally not. Christmas Village is usually closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The exceptions in 2026 are Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 December, when the market opens from noon to 8 pm. If you arrive early in the week, plan a museum or harbour walk for the first day and the market later.
When does Christmas Village Baltimore close for the season?
The published 2026 season ends on Sunday 27 December. The market closes on Christmas Day and returns on 26 and 27 December, with Saturday hours of noon to 9 pm and Sunday hours of noon to 8 pm. Recheck these final dates before you travel, as weather or other changes can affect operation.
Is Christmas Village Baltimore free?
The outdoor market is free. On selected weekend days, adults aged 18 and over pay $5 for a Season Pass to enter the heated festival tent; under-18s enter free. Food, drinks, rides, gifts and bookable activities always cost extra, so a free entrance does not make the whole visit free.
What time does Holiday Heap open on 12 December?
The public opening hours for 2026 were not clearly stated in the sources checked at the research date. General shopping admission is described as free, while a separate early hour needs a ticket bought in advance. Check the current Holiday Heap event page before arranging travel or a hotel around it.
Where exactly is the Baltimore Christmas market?
Christmas Village is in West Shore Park at the Inner Harbor; the organiser gives 501 Light Street as the address. The Maryland Science Center is also on Light Street. Holiday Heap is a separate event at 2640 St. Paul Street, north of the harbour, so plan a transfer between the two.
